"Don't Be That KID! At School" was selected as one of thirteen books every child should read before entering Kindergarten! (Fupping)
Fupping says: "Before even considering dropping the kids at Kindergarten, why not give them some foreknowledge in advance? You know, a head start never hurts anyone."
"Consider giving your kids a piece of knowledge they can absorb lessons from and can help them develop functionally into healthy kids who will, hopefully, grow up to be great adults."
Why was "Don't Be That KID! At School" selected? Because it's about a little goat who misbehaves at school but ultimately learns his lesson. After misbehaving throughout the book, our KID wakes up and looks at himself in the mirror. He reflects on the choices he's made and makes a decision about the kind of KID he wants to be moving forward.
Each scene provides an opportunity for parents, grandparents and educators to discuss character building values, such as honesty, consideration, responsibility and respect. It also provides an opportunity to initiate behavior expectations discussions before a child begins Kindergarten.
I'm so proud that "Don't Be That KID! At School" was selected!
