Networking is all about building long-term relationships. It establishes who you are and what you stand for. It's not just about selling your product or service. It's an opportunity to get to know other people who can help you and who you can help in return.

The hallmark of an organization I joined, Polka-Dot Powerhouse, is the benefits of meeting and networking with entrepreneurial women nationally and internationally. Since I joined in 2017, I've connected through Zoom or phone with almost 200 Dots! What a positive experience!

I've "met" women in all walks of life. Our "meetings" have provided me with new ideas and new insights on a host of subjects. I've learned about best practices and discussed the challenges and opportunities that many of us encounter.

Recently, I've attended group Zooms that have introduced me to women across the country and Canada who are seeking to increase their exposure professionally and share ideas with others.

I started networking to increase sales of the "Don't Be That KID!" Series and that has certainly happened. But in realty, I've gotten so much more than that from engaging with all of these bright, professional women! They have expanded my knowledge and interest in topics I would never have thought about discussing before.

Most importantly, we've established a mutual trust and friendship. I feel so fortunate to be a part of this inspiring group!
